Groundbreaker's Roundtable: Examining Projects that Survived the Development Gauntlet and Broke Ground in 2011
Current economic conditions are less than ideal for any business enterprise, much less enterprises competing in the commodity energy marketplace. That said, the biomass industry continues to do the hard work of moving projects along a project pathway towards groundbreaking and in 2011 was rewarded with groundbreaking ceremonies in virtually every technology pathway. This panel gathers a representative from the biomass power, biomass thermal, biorefining, biogas and pellet sectors who all saw their respective projects to groundbreaking this past year. Attendees will hear from them about the challenges they overcame, their financing strategies, the strategic partnerships they forged and their progress in bringing all of these projects on line.
